Hi! I'm Radhika.

Welcome to a showcase of my work.

A driven, curious, creative, and enthusiastic feminist who is in the pursuit of her Ikigai.

I am currently a Creative Strategist, at Overture Entertainment after a stint in Schbang as a Brand Solutions Strategist. Graduating in Computer Science Engineering, made me realize that my passion lied in theatre which I have been pursuing for over five years now. Having been trained in Bharatanatyam, being a huge factor in this discovery. The creative field of life is where my strengths truly lie, which led me to explore sections within it. I have done a couple of gigs in content creation, account management, brand development strategy and social media. This is when I realized that the digital media space is where I want to work in life. My interest in a wide variety of subjects led me to the Young India Fellowship (Post grad diploma in Liberal Studies) at Ashoka University.

In my work, which often revolves around gender, you can see my creative production skills as well as my acting skills. I am the person in any discussion who brings the most out-of-box, well-rounded, and nuanced ideas to the table.  Hence, if you or your organization wants someone on their team with adept account management, brand development production, social media strategy, and content skills, reach out to me and we can talk over a cup of coffee!

This page features a collection of videos I have conceptualized and produced. Some of these are short films I have acted in.

चौराहा (Crossroads) : A short documentary on the intersection between age and queerness

Elderly queer people have been largely invisibilized across the world, and especially in a country like India. The factor of age brings in aspects such as health, and poverty due to the prolonged discrimination felt during a time when not just legally, but even socially LGBTQIA+ people were discriminated against and worse forgotten. For this purpose, students in the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University wanted to use our resources to reach out to people within the elderly queer community and showcase their stories. After learning about the kind of struggles they’ve faced especially in light of the pandemic, we decided to start two fundraisers for organizations pertaining to both the women in the documentary. They are in dire need of resources, and any support would be greatly appreciated. We have added the links for fundraisers below and we request you to go through them and help us in creating awareness and help support them. The first form is for the organization Vikalp (Maya Sharma’s organization): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1fdYfH546cDM6gIFk_R-U9Z_YnYWr-PuFQpx0YX4gEsE/edit The second form is for the organization Samabhabona. Helen is one of the people whose needs are being looked at through the organization: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1HwBooJN1cR_cirBjdcMRRTCTowzfbCI8QUbguYzBV2Q/edit The short documentary चौराहा (Crossroads) is an attempt in putting forward the voices and concerns of people who have struggled with not only being seen and heard, but also with being accepted in society. This was an opportunity to study the intersection between not just age and queerness but also to delve into the intersections of religion, culture, caste as well as issues around politics, representation and policymaking. Details of the organizations are in the links above. Please contribute whatever you can, and spread the message across. These organizations don’t receive a lot of help and it would really benefit the communities involved if you contribute.

Fleabag meets Shakespeare | A re-imagination of Romeo and Juliet | A short film

This is a short film about love, and if it would indeed exist without a challenge to overcome. Had it not been for the Capulet's and Montatague's rivalry, would Romeo and Juliet even love each other ? This short film explores another dynamic that exists within Romeo and Benevolio, as sinister and mildly incestuous that it is, we see this unfold as the story progresses. With all of this in place, would Juliet resort to her old ways of killing herself, or would she live to see another day? Maybe she doesn't this time, and curses Shakespeare (the therapist) for the misfortune that he has written for her. Dismantling any remnants of misogyny that may exist around heart break. Special thanks to the creator of Fleabag, Phoebe Waller-Bridge for inspiring and being a part of this film in some way. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Head to my Instagram @whatsyourcrack for some fun reels and quirky content ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beginning intro designed and animated by www.goodasneue.studio Reach out to her for any design or branding requirements you'd have. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Email me at dritiwadwa29@gmail.com for any brand deals and collabs.
